THE STORY SO FAR.

Well here we are before our boat trip from Hervey Bay which we thought was a charity trip to go and watch the whales, well it turned out to be a sail boat race and we were watching the race, no wind that day so we sat bopping around waiting for the sails to catch a little bit of a breeze, very boring but it was my fault for not reading the poster thoroughly. We went out on the whale watching boat not watching whales, never mind.
We have now moved up the coast and are presently at the camp shown in the picture below, very nice free camp just outside Calliope which is near Gladstone. we are going to head west  inland on Monday heading to Carnarvon Gorge which we have been told by many people that it is a must see.
Then we will stay inland and see some country towns and hopefully some nice weather, its very overcast today. I know this is winter but we are in Queensland it should be better than this.
We went to a historical village yesterday hence the picture of Andreas sitting on the dunny,  just for a bit of fun and thankfully no-one around at the time of the photo. It was interesting but i think we may have seen enough historical villages for the moment.
The World cup started today so I imagine that Andreas will be watching quite a bit of football over the next few weeks. That will make him very happy.
