CHRISTMAS IN MELBOURNE.

Well here we are in Mebourne for christmas and the new year.
We both love Melbourne, there is so much to do here and whatever time it is there are always people around.

This one of the alleyways that you find here, its the place to have some thing to eat or just to sit back and do a bit of people watching. You shouldn't miss this area, its a hive of activity, we always have a visit here.

Melbourne would be a great place to live if you can put up this horrible weather. I would hate to come here in the winter if this is the summer is like.

Well here we are at the MCG at the Boxing Day test, so many people (91.000), thats a lot of people for a game of cricket.

As you can see Andreas is very happy to be here, I went along to keep him company but it is not my idea of fun.
It turned out that the days play wasn't the best so by the time 3.00pm  came I left him to it.
Boxing day I went to the shops but stayed away from the big shops, they were so busy and would you believe it the game got exciting after I had left.
Oh dear would I sleep knowing i missed the most exciting part of the days play. Unfortunely there is plenty more cricket to come.

Christmas lights on the town hall in Melbourne city center.
We had a wander around the city on christmas Eve and came across this light show that was running on the town hall.
Christmas Day was spent with Chris and his girlfriend Jaz, he cooked us a lovely roast dinner, it was a lovely day.
Plenty to eat and drink, then we caught the tram home afterwards.
Public transport in Melbourne is the best, and it was free on Christmas day and is also free on New Years Eve, we both love the tram system here.
