QUEENSLAND

Well here we are in sunny Queensland, thankfully the weather has improved. 

We get asked all the time where we are heading to, and we only really plan our next stop and at present we are staying in a place called in-skip point which is very close to Fraser isalnd. We have extended our stay three times as we weren't sure at first because we where getting reports about the sandflies and mozzies. I am covering myself with repellant but have still got a few bites but not enough to make us move on.

Its a beautiful beach, Andreas has tried every day to catch fish but it seems that nobody is catching.

Spent some time with some friends in Toowoomba ( Trudie and Phil), and they took us for a ride into Brisbane which was very nice.

Heading from here to Maryborough to some other friends for a couple of days then we shall have to get out the book and look for our next camp.

As long as the sun is shining we are happy.!!!!!!!!

Heading north for some sunshine

Well since my last post we have moved into Queensland quickly, we got fed up with the weather so we have decided to come back to the NSW coast in the summer .

We are not planning too far ahead, just trying to follow the sunshine, had a lovely time with some friends at lake St. Claire but the group went home early because of the weather.

Thought you might like to see the sun rising over the sea, as we don't get to see this in the west, got up early to get the sun rise. We normally dont appear till about 7.30 / 8.00 and have been known to sleep a little later. It sure beats getting up at 5am to go to work. I recommend it to everyone, as the saying goes

 LIFE IS FOR LIVING.
