Time to catch up!!!!! 18th march 11
Six weeks and we are at present in Walpole, we haven't gone very far, usually when we move we travel around 30 k , i think the longest journey was Augusta to Manjimup.
We have stayed in some nice places, we liked a place called Alexander Bridge near Augusta , by the river and tried to to catch some fish. No luck !!
Went to Pemberton in a camp near the big brook dam , one afternoon thought we would go for a walk to the dam was told there is a short route and a long one, as we only wanted a stroll we went the short way as we thought, 1 hr later still walking no dam in sight on the gravel road up and down hills with no map, eventually we found the dam and just hoped that we didn't have to turn round and walk the same way back, managed to find our way back but our stroll turned out to take 2.5 hrs and 7k long.
We all slept well that night !!!
Tried to get in a camp site near Denmark called Parry Beach great spot but the van was 300mm too tall to get in so we had to stay in the overflow carpark felt like billy no mates, everyone down in the camp having happy hour and we where up in the car park by ourselves.
This caravan site we are in at Walpole is great by the river, andreas is fishing again but this time we had fish for tea last night, also fed the pelicans with the trumpeters that he caught. staying here till monday then we head back to Denmark. We have internet here , television and phone coverage so we are making the most of it.
Hope it wont be as long till I can write again, Lets hope someone is reading this or i am writing this to myself.
